Loyalty Cards (Main Menu / Setup / Store / Other / Loyalty Cards)
Overview
The Loyalty dialog is where you define your loyalty program (if any).
Actions
Edit - Edits the current settings.
Save - Saves changes to the current settings.
Cancel - Cancels the current operation.
Close - Closes the Customers form.
Keys - Displays the on-screen keyboard (see On-Screen Keyboard).
Help - Displays the help menu (see Help Menu).
Tool Tips - Hover the mouse cursor over any field descriptor to display a brief description.
Fields
Name - A 40 character alpha-numeric name.
Setup Button - Press this button to have the Loyalty Wizard set up your loyalty cards for use.
Bar Codes Check Box - This is a read only field filled in by the wizard.
Bar Code Prefix - This is a read only field filled in by the wizard.
Check Digit Check Box - This is a read only field filled in by the wizard.
Mag Stripe Check Box - This is a read only field filled in by the wizard.
Mag Stripe Prefix - This is a read only field filled in by the wizard.
Loyalty Membership Fees
Activate Fee Based Memberships - Use to indicate whether or not the loyalty program is fee based.
New Membership Fee - Used to select a PLU number associated with the fee involved with a new membership. Click the yellow folder to the right to display a lookup dialog. Click the red X to the right to remove.
Renewal Fee - Used to select a PLU number associated with the fee involved with renewing a membership. Click the yellow folder to the right to display a lookup dialog. Click the red X to the right to remove.
Membership Period - Used to indicate the number of months the membership is valid (1-999 months).
Default Pricing Tier - Used to assign a pricing tier to new customers (see Customers).
Loyalty Points Formula
Activate Check Box - Use to indicate whether or not a loyalty points program is in effect. When checked the following four fields will appear.
Customer Earns "x" Points for Every "y" in Qualifying Purchases -Fill in the values for x and y as appropriate for your program.
Example
The customer earns 1 point for every $10.00 in qualifying purchases,
Upon Earning "x" points, issue a "y" certificate or gift card - Fill in the values for x and y as appropriate for your program as well as selecting certificate or gift card.
Example
Upon Earning 25 points, issue a $5.00 certificate
In other words, when the customer spends $250 they get a certificate for $5.00
