Fields

Media -The various tender media supported.

Drawer - The Drawer check boxes are used to indicate whether or not the cash drawer is to open when the corresponding tender media is used.

Force Amount - The Force Amount check boxes are used to indicate whether or not the tender amount must be specified for the corresponding tender media. When checked the media key must be proceeded by the amount.

When unchecked, entering the amount is optional.

When unchecked, omitting the amount tenders the remaining balance.

Cash Back - The Cash Back check boxes are used to indicate whether or not the customer can over tender using the corresponding tender media.

Placing a value in these fields will help prevent accidental over-tendering by cashiers.

Maximum Cash Back - The Max Cash Back fields are used to indicate the maximum amount that can be over-tendered (if any) on the corresponding tender medias.

These fields work in conjunction with the Cash Back check boxes.

Maximum Entry - The Maximum Entry fields are used to specify the maximum amount allowed for the corresponding tender media.

Placing a value in these fields will help prevent accidental over-tendering by cashiers.

Lowest Denomination - The lowest coin denomination minted and in circulation (measured as a fraction of the smallest bill in circulation).

Examples:

The United States mints one cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .01

Canada no longer mints one cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .05

Mexico no longer mints one cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .05

Barbados no longer mints one cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .05

Australia no longer mints one cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .05

New Zealand no longer mints one or five cent coins, so the lowest denomination would be .10

Processor - The Processor fields are used to specify the name of the processor to use.

Use of a processor requires certain paperwork to be completed first. Please check

with customer support before changing to insure uninterrupted service.
