Brands  (Main Menu / Data / Inventory / Brands)

Overview

The brand table serves as a central repository for all of the inventory brands you carry. Kellogg's, Post, General Mills, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Tide and Cheer are all examples of inventory brands.

Actions

Find - Selects and displays a brand (see Find Dialog)

New - Adds a new brand.

Edit - Edits the current brand.

Delete - Permanently deletes the current brand.

Save - Saves changes to the current brand.

Cancel - Cancels the current operation.

Close - Closes the Brands form.

Keys - Displays the on-screen keyboard (see On-Screen Keyboard).

List - Displays and optionally prints a list of brands (see Brand List).

Help - Displays the help menu (see Help Menu).

Tool Tips - Hover the mouse cursor over any field descriptor to display a brief description.

Fields

Brand Number - Entries limited to a number between 1 and 99999999.

Example:

Name - Entries limited to 40 alphanumeric characters.

Purchase Promo

Threshold Amount - The required amount to purchases of this brand in order to receive a discount.

Example:

$50.00

Discount Percent - The discount percentage applied when the threshold amount is met.
